Neal and Peter team up to investigate a wealthy couple, the McCarthys, who may be running a Ponzi scheme. Neal goes undercover as a financial advisor and gains their trust while Peter works his way through paperwork and surveillance footage to gather evidence. The McCarthys are getting ready to close a deal with an important billionaire investor, which could make or break their scheme. Meanwhile, Neal struggles to balance his work with the FBI and his love life when he runs into an old flame, who happens to be the McCarthys' head of marketing.
