Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? is a reality television series that airs on the Style Network. Each episode is about two different couples who are getting married. The episode follows the couples as they plan their wedding. Each couple is assigned a wedding planner to take over planning the couple's wedding. The series then follows the planner as he or she puts together the couple's big day. All aspects of planning a wedding are covered, from selecting the best venue for the reception to choosing the catering menu. The wedding planner helps each couple choose what kind of food to have at their wedding and accompanies them to cake tastings and the like. A major part of each episode is devoted to the bride choosing her bridal gown. The planner always accompanies the bride and helps her pick her dress, as well as attends all the fittings. Bridesmaid dresses are also included in the planning. The show also heavily focuses on trips to the florist and selections of flowers for the wedding. Flowers remain one of the most expensive items that a couple has to get for their wedding. Many of the weddings featured on the show cost upwards of $30,000, and budgeting appropriately is something many couples struggle with. The wedding planner featured on the show usually does his or her best to get the couples to plan and budget, but there are often disagreements. The couples disagree over where their money should go, and many of them do not want to skimp on important parts of their wedding. The show really highlights the difficult life of a wedding planner. For their participation in the show, all the couples receive a paid honeymoon trip, usually at some exotic locale.
