Ep 7. The Duels 2

World of Dance is in its fourth season, and episode 7 is titled "The Duels 2." This episode takes place in the second round of "The Duels," where the remaining competitors face off in head-to-head dance battles. Each duo or group has the opportunity to showcase their skills to ensure they progress in the competition.

The format of the duels is the same as the previous season. Each duo or group faces off against their opponent on the same stage, accompanied by their chosen music. The judges, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Derek Hough, assess each performance based on five criteria: performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation. The judges score each dance out of 100, with a possible total of 300 points.

The competition first heats up between Jefferson y Adrianita and Geometrie Variable. Jefferson y Adrianita are a Latin ballroom duo that has impressed the judges in the qualifying round with their sophisticated choreography and impeccable technique. Geometrie Variable is a young, contemporary dance group who stunned the judges with their originality and creativity.

Next up is Oxygen, a hip-hop duo that has been wowing the judges with their precision and synchronization, who face-off against Luca and Alessandra, a contemporary duo who uniquely blend dance and theater. Oxygen's playful and energetic routine is sure to challenge Luca and Alessandra's more subdued, emotionally charged performance.

Then, Fallon & Kristopher, a talented contemporary duo with a strong connection between them, face off against Josh & Erica, a dynamic Latin ballroom couple who brought the judges to their feet in the qualifying round.

The final matchup of the night is between Derion & Madison, a contemporary duo with incredible lifts and fluidity, and Styles & Emma, a tap duo who uses complex rhythms and beats in their performances.

As always, the judges must decide who impressed them the most in each matchup, with only one duo or group from each battle advancing to the next round. The pressure is on, and each competitor must put forward their best effort to stay in the competition.

In "The Duels 2," tensions run high, and the dance routines become more challenging as the remaining competitors compete fiercely to progress to the next round.
