Ep 2. Gimme Some Lovin'

Dani Santino is back in action as the therapist for the New York Hawks in the second episode of Necessary Roughness season three, entitled "Gimme Some Lovin'." The episode opens with Dani joining the team's head coach, Anthony "Tony" DiPietro, for a morning run. Along the way, they run into an old friend and rival of Tony's, former coach Dennis "Denny" Barrett, whose presence immediately riles Tony up.

Tensions continue to rise as the team gets ready for their next game, a home opener against the Miami Sharks. While tensions on the field are to be expected, Dani soon realizes that something is off between Tony and Denny. As she probes for more information, she learns that Denny was once a mentor to Tony, but the two had a falling out years ago, and haven't spoken since.

As Dani tries to mediate between the two coaches, she finds herself dealing with other issues as well. Wide receiver TK King is struggling with his love life, and Dani finds herself drawn into his drama when he hires her to help him win back his ex-girlfriend, Sheera. Meanwhile, Dani's own love life is complicated by the reappearance of her ex-husband Ray, who is hoping to get back together.

As the Hawks prepare for the game, tensions on and off the field come to a head. Will TK be able to reconcile with Sheera and get his head back in the game, or will his personal life derail his football career? Can Dani help Tony and Denny resolve their differences, or will their animosity continue to threaten the team's success? And what will Dani do about Ray's attempts to win her back, when her own heart is torn between him and her new flame, Nico?
