Sherri is a sitcom that aired on Lifetime from 2009 to 2010. The show stars Sherri Shepherd as Sherri Robinson, a newly single mother who is trying to juggle her career as a paralegal and her personal life. Kali Rocha plays Sherri's best friend, Celia, while Tammy Townsend portrays Angie, Sherri's other best friend.

The show begins with Sherri divorcing her cheating husband, Kevin, and moving to New York City with her daughter, Bo. In the first episode, Sherri starts a new job as a paralegal at a law firm and meets the handsome lawyer, Randy Gregg, played by Michael Boaten. She starts to develop feelings for him, but he just wants to be friends.

Throughout the series, Sherri navigates the unpredictable world of dating while raising her daughter and dealing with the challenges of being a single mother. She also leans on her friends for support and advice.

In addition to exploring the ups and downs of Sherri's personal life, the show also touches on social issues such as misogyny, workplace harassment, and body image. Sherri is a proud plus-size woman and often has to deal with people making insensitive comments about her weight.

Overall, Sherri is a heartwarming sitcom that focuses on the importance of friendship and self-love. It shows that no matter what life throws at you, you can always count on your friends to be there for you.
