Combine a clown named Loonette and a dolly named Molly with a larger than life couch and you have a delightful children’s television show called The Big Comfy Couch. Each show centers around Loonette the Clown and her dolly named Molly as they solve their problems on a large comfy couch.

Loonette the Clown starts each show by doing some simple exercises as she emphasizes how important it is to be healthy. Loonette often reads Molly a story relating to the episode’s lesson. If the problem is too big for Loonette, she travels to Granny Garbanzo for help. At the end of the show, Loonette does a “ten-second tidy” to emphasize how important to clean up after playing. At the end of the show, Loonette tucks herself and Molly in for their bedtime.
