Ep 2. It's My Party

In the second episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 1, titled "It's My Party," we're introduced to the women's lives in more detail as they each plan their own respective parties.

The episode begins with NeNe Leakes planning a birthday party for her husband, Gregg. She enlists the help of her friend and party planner, Tony Conway, to make sure the event is perfect. Meanwhile, Kim Zolciak is planning her own party as well. She wants to throw a masquerade ball for her upcoming 30th birthday, and enlists the help of her assistant, Sweetie, to make it happen.

Shereé Whitfield is also planning a party in this episode. She's put together a girls' night out for her friends at the local Tango club. She invites Kim, but Kim seems to be more focused on her own party and doesn't seem interested in attending Shereé's event. However, this doesn't stop Shereé from making sure her party is a success. She even takes dance lessons to prepare for the tango!

As the women prepare for their parties, we learn more about their personal lives. NeNe talks about her marriage to Gregg and how they're trying to work things out after a rough patch. She's also dealing with her son, Bryson, who is struggling with finding a job and getting his life on track.

Kim talks about her music career and how she's trying to balance that with being a mother to her two daughters. She also has a new man in her life, 'Big Poppa,' whom she's keeping a secret from the rest of the ladies.

Shereé talks about her divorce from her ex-husband, Bob, and her desire to move on and start dating again. She's also focusing on her fashion line and trying to make it a success.

The parties themselves are full of drama and excitement. NeNe's event has a few hiccups, but her husband is happy with how things turned out. Kim's masquerade ball is a hit, and she even performs her song "Tardy for the Party" for the first time. Shereé's girls' night out is a success, but she does have a run-in with Kim at the end of the night.

Throughout the episode, tensions between the ladies continue to simmer. NeNe and Kim have a few disagreements, but they're able to put it aside for the sake of Gregg's party. Shereé and Kim also have some tension, but they're able to have a civil conversation at the end of the episode.

Overall, "It's My Party" is a fun and entertaining episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It gives us more insight into the lives of these women, and sets the stage for even more drama to come.
