  • Zak's cryptid-influencing powers are put to their final test as Argost unleashes an army of cryptids on the entire world. Old alliances and new vendettas hit their peaks as the Secret Scientists, the Nagas and others all play their parts in the global "War of the Cryptids," but ultimately, as Doc has warned his son since the beginning, it all comes down to Zak.

  • Returning home to their demolished HQ to gather up some old Sumerian tomes from Drew's library, the Saturdays are ambushed by Tsul'Kalu, the great hunter and previous owner of the Hand of Tsul'Kalu on the end of Zak's Claw. Turns out, the hunter wants his hand back, and he insists on fighting for it. Doc tries to take Tsul one-on-one, but before anyone can stop him, Zak rushes in to fight Tsul instead, determined that nobody else is going to get hurt because of him.

  • Doc, Zak and Fiskerton strike a bargain with the Secret Scientists. If the Saturdays can subdue a huge, wild cryptid that's gotten loose in Dr. Beeman's Peruvian lab, the Scientists agree to call off their pursuit of Zak for six months. Unfortunately, the shape-shifting Revolving Beast seems to be immune to Zak's powers, and in a moment of desperation, Zak secretly turns to Argost for help. Seizing the moment, Argost springs his final trap, putting Zak's life and the entire world in jeopardy.

And the flute is currently in the scaly hands of the Nagas...
