Ep 2. Engagement Cancellation!?

Engagement Cancellation!? is the second episode of the first season of To Love-Ru. The episode begins with the main character, Rito, running to school when he bumps into a girl named Lala Satalin Deviluke. Lala informs Rito that she is an alien princess and that she has come to Earth to find a suitor to marry and become the next king of her home planet, Deviluke. Lala agrees, but only if Rito can prove his love for her by catching her runaway pets.

Rito agrees to the challenge and sets out to catch Lala's pets with the help of his friend, Saruyama. However, Lala's pets are not your average animals. They are miniature-sized aliens with incredible powers who manage to cause chaos and destruction throughout the town. Rito and Saruyama try their best to catch the aliens, but they soon realize that they have bitten off more than they can chew.

Meanwhile, Lala becomes jealous of Haruna and decides to learn more about Rito's feelings towards her. Lala uses her powers to spy on Rito and Haruna and discovers that Rito has feelings for Haruna. Lala becomes upset and runs away, causing Rito and Saruyama to lose track of her pets.

Rito, feeling guilty about hurting Lala's feelings, goes to look for her. He eventually finds her on the rooftop of the school, where she is gazing at the stars. Rito apologizes for his behavior and tells Lala that he considers her a friend. Lala forgives Rito and cancels the engagement. However, she also reveals that she plans on staying on Earth for a while longer and hopes to get to know Rito better.

Engagement Cancellation!? is a fun and lighthearted episode that continues to develop the relationships between the main characters. The episode is filled with comedy, action, and a touch of romance, making it an enjoyable second installment to the series.
