The film is set in Austin, Texas in 1954. Kim Basinger plays Nadine Hightower. Nadine stumbles onto a murder scene when she attempts to retrieve some photos from a sleazy photographer Raymond Escobar. The photos were a little more risqué than she had bargained for. Nadine ends up stealing photos of a new highway development project. The photos end up with Nadine estranged husband Vernon (Bridges). The couple end up on the run from the police who charge Nadine with the murder and from Rip Torn, the shady real estate agent, who wants his photos back.

Nadine is a 1987 action movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 18 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.5.
