Ep 16. Academy City

In A Certain Scientific Railgun season 1 episode 16 titled "Academy City," we see Mikoto and Kuroko undertaking a new mission. When they arrive at the warehouse, they find that the organization's members are already waiting for them.

Kazari is petrified and can't handle the situation, but Kuroko deals with them with ease, revealing that she possesses extraordinary combat skills. However, just when they are about to leave the warehouse, they realize that the organization is planning on doing something major that can pose a significant threat to the city.

Back at the research center, Mikoto, Ruiko, and the new girl are waiting their turn to use the equipment. They soon realize that the equipment is not functioning as it should be and something is wrong with it. The girl's father who is also present there tells them that if his daughter does not get access to the equipment, he might end up losing his life.

Mikoto decides to look into the matter and soon discovers that the equipment was intentionally tampered with to harm someone. She swiftly comes to the conclusion that the dangerous organization Kuroko had been investigating is involved and heads to the warehouse to confront them with the help of Ruiko.

What follows is a series of action-packed events where Mikoto and Kuroko team up to take down the organization once and for all. They fight their way through several members of the organization, but in the end, they are able to stop them from carrying out their plan.

As the episode concludes, Mikoto and Kuroko return to the research center only to find that the equipment is now working as it should be. The new girl's father is finally able to use it, and he recovers from his illness. Mikoto and Ruiko share a moment together, enjoying the fact that they were able to help someone in need.
