Later in the episode, Sydney goes to a dinner party with her SD-6 colleagues, where she is introduced to Khasinau, who is posing as a legitimate businessman. She realizes that he is the same man she saw at the lab and that he is working with SD-6. Sydney also finds out that Khasinau is planning a major arms deal with a group of terrorists.

Sydney and Vaughn devise a plan to stop the arms deal. They infiltrate Khasinau's compound and are able to stop the deal just in time. However, before they can leave, they are ambushed by Khasinau's men. Sydney fights off the attackers, but Vaughn is shot and seriously injured.

The episode ends with Sydney taking Vaughn to the hospital. She visits him and tells him that she knows SD-6 is not a legitimate intelligence agency and that she wants to take them down. Vaughn is doubtful, but Sydney is determined to find a way to uncover the truth about SD-6.
