In "Antiques Roadshow" season 26 episode 9, viewers are treated to the third hour of the "Omni Mount Washington Resort" event. The show continues its trek through the beautiful Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH, where antique and collectible appraisals are taken to the next level. As always, the Roadshow experts are on standby to examine the rarest and most interesting artifacts brought in by the locals.

In this episode, a wide range of antiques are examined, ranging from the fascinating to the bizarre. First, we are introduced to a collection of silver objects, dating back from the 17th century to present day. Experts admire the shine and patina of these objects, although they sure made a few guesses before laying down precise evaluations. Next, a pair of interesting woodblock prints that depict the sinking of a Japanese ship in 1904 are appraised, as well as an original illustration from a 1937 Dr. Seuss book.

Then, a man brings in his father's ship's clock - complete with the original logbooks of the voyages it sailed on - hoping to find out more about its history. The clock attracts a crowd, and many of the avid Roadshow fans marvel at the finding of a logbook, which has accurate historical information about a famous ship that was lost in a storm.

Later, in a segment made for animal lovers, a woman brings in a cute-looking glass figurine of a frog. She has had the piece for over 60 years, and the expert evaluates the glass frog to be from the 1880s-1890s, labelled in a detailed and refined style. Additionally, we meet a woman who brought a one-of-a-kind scrapbook, carefully crafted by her ancestor, that house souvenirs from visits to several national parks over time. This includes a remarkable trip to Yellowstone in 1890, when the park was under military rule.

The experts then uncover a group of Chinese Snuff Bottles that attract quite some attention due to their intricate designs. Appraisers evaluate them based on their age and their content. Would-be collectors would love to own them, as they are deemed to enhance any vintage collection. Lastly, a man shows up with a mysterious rifle that his grandfather had kept in his attic for decades. The group wonders if it could be connected to the famous Buffalo Bill, making for an interesting appraisal session for all.

Overall "Antiques Roadshow" season 26 episode 9, continues to show how the smallest and humblest of things that people own can sometimes be of great value and intrigue. Whether it is a clock, an old book or a small glass sculpture, the experts on the show find a way to bring their historical and aesthetic value to light. As roadshow fanatics already know, every time an individual brings in their family heirlooms, it is a journey worth taking - and even more exciting than the last!
