One of the standout pieces is a hand-carved wooden statue of an African warrior, which the owner inherited from their father who was a missionary in Africa. Appraiser Wes Cowan determines that the statue was likely made by the Yoruba people in Nigeria and estimates its value to be around $6,000-$8,000.

Another interesting artifact is a collection of Civil War-era documents, including letters from Confederate soldier Lt. Col. John S. Mosby and a signed photo of General Robert E. Lee. Appraiser Ken Gloss values the entire collection at around $10,000-$15,000.

A young woman brings in a set of vintage Barbie dolls and accessories, which her grandparents had purchased for her mother in the 1960s. Appraiser Kathleen Bailey explains that certain rare Barbie dolls can fetch high prices at auction, but unfortunately this set is not one of them and is valued at around $800-$1,200.

Appraiser Noel Barrett appraises a unique collection of German beer steins, featuring intricate illustrations and ornate metalwork. He praises the quality of the craftsmanship and estimates the collection to be worth $15,000-$20,000.

One owner brings in an elaborate Victorian-era birdcage, complete with a hand-painted mural of a garden scene on the back wall. Appraiser Christopher Mitchell explains that such elaborate bird cages were status symbols in the late 1800s and estimates the piece’s value to be around $4,000-$6,000.
