Ep 3. Dream Makers

In season 1 episode 3 of Born This Way called Dream Makers, we continue to follow the daily lives of seven young adults with Down syndrome. The episode begins with Steven and Megan working together to plan a surprise 21st birthday party for Rachel. We see the group come together to decorate and set up the venue, with everyone pitching in to make the day special for Rachel.

Meanwhile, Elena is excited to participate in a fashion show hosted by a local boutique. She attends a fitting with her mother and longtime supporter, Lillie, and we see Elena beaming with excitement as she tries on different outfits. Another dream in the making in this episode is John's desire to become an advocate for people with disabilities. Later in the episode, we see Cristina pursuing her passion for music as she rehearses for a performance at a local fundraiser. She works closely with her vocal coach, Jess, to perfect her performance, and we see the pride and joy on her face as she sings in front of an audience.

Throughout the episode, we also see the friendships and connections between the cast members deepen. Rachel and Megan continue to bond, with Rachel confiding in Megan about her personal struggles and Megan offering her support and understanding. Sean, who has been struggling with his own feelings of loneliness, opens up to his housemate, JT, about his desire for a girlfriend. JT listens attentively to Sean and offers him advice and reassurance.
