Megan, who has Down syndrome, continues to navigate her relationship with boyfriend Brendan. The two have been together for a while now, but Megan still feels insecure about their future together. She confides in her mom that she's worried Brendan will break up with her because of her disability. Meanwhile, Brendan surprises Megan with a romantic picnic to show her how much he cares.
John, who also has Down syndrome, is excited about his upcoming date with girlfriend Rachel. He puts on his best outfit and practices his dance moves, but things don't go exactly as planned. The two end up having a disagreement while out on the date, and John struggles to handle his emotions. He confides in his friend Steven, who helps him work through his feelings and figure out how to make things right with Rachel.
Elena, who has Down syndrome and runs her own fashion line, continues to pursue her crush Steven. The two go on a date, but things get awkward when Steven mentions that he doesn't want to have children. Elena, who has always dreamed of being a mom, is upset by this revelation and starts to question whether they are compatible. She turns to her mom for advice and ultimately decides to talk to Steven about their future together.
Finally, we get a glimpse into the dating life of Sean, who has Down syndrome and is openly gay. He confides in his friend Megan that he's interested in someone he met online, but is nervous about the potential rejection. Megan encourages him to be brave and reach out to the guy, and Sean ultimately decides to take her advice.
Throughout the episode, we see the cast members grappling with the same issues as anyone else in the dating world – insecurity, miscommunication, and uncertainty about the future.
