Burgers, Brew & 'Que is back for its second season, and this time it's hotter, charred, and crispier than ever before! In this episode, Burgermeister Michael Symon hits up Kansas City to indulge in some smokin' hot barbecue and ice-cold brews.

The episode starts off with Michael paying a visit to Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que, a local favorite that has been dishing out some of the best barbecue in the city for over 20 years. Michael can't wait to sink his teeth into some of their famous burnt ends and smoky pulled pork, but first, he has to meet the pitmaster in charge.

Next up on Michael's hit list is Char Bar, a hip and happening barbecue joint that takes its smoked meats to a whole new level. Michael gets to chat with the owner about his unique techniques for smoking brisket and ribs, and he even gets to try his hand at making his own barbecue sauce! Of course, he also has to try some of Char Bar's signature dishes, like the burnt end burger and the crispy pork belly sandwich.

After all that barbecue, Michael is ready for some beer to wash it all down. He heads over to Boulevard Brewing Company, one of Kansas City's oldest and most well-respected breweries, to sample some of their award-winning brews. Michael gets to meet the brewmaster and learn about the brewery's history and unique brewing process. He also gets to taste a few of their seasonal beers and pair them with some delicious bar snacks.

Finally, Michael wraps up his Kansas City adventure with a visit to Q39, a modern barbecue joint that has been taking the city by storm. He gets to chat with the owner about his secret techniques for smoking meats and making the perfect barbecue sauce, and he also gets to try some of their most popular dishes, like the brisket sliders and the burnt end nachos.

Throughout the episode, Michael gives us an inside look at what makes Kansas City barbecue so special and why it's considered one of the best barbecue destinations in the country. He also shares some of his own tips and tricks for grilling the perfect burger and making the perfect barbecue sauce.

All in all, Hot, Charred and Crispy is a mouth-watering episode that will leave you craving some delicious smoked meats and ice-cold brews.
