In season 4 episode 22 of Cheap Eats, host Ali Khan travels to Memphis, Tennessee, to uncover some of the best food deals in the city. Known for its barbeque and soul food, Memphis is a food lover's paradise, and Ali is on a mission to find the tastiest dishes at the most affordable prices.

Ali begins his journey at Sunrise Memphis, a funky diner that serves up classic breakfast dishes with a twist. Here, he tries the Elvis Pancakes, a stack of fluffy pancakes filled with bananas and topped with peanut butter and bacon. He also samples the Sunrise Omelet, which is filled with crispy fried chicken and smothered in gravy. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices at Sunrise Memphis are surprisingly affordable.

Next, Ali heads to The Beauty Shop, a restaurant housed in a former hair salon that still retains its retro decor. The menu here features modern American cuisine with a southern twist, including the popular Shrimp and Grits dish. Ali also tries the Pimento Grilled Cheese, which is made with pimento cheese, bacon jam, and caramelized onions. The Beauty Shop offers great food and atmosphere for a reasonable price.

Ali's next stop is the Soul Fish Cafe, a restaurant that specializes in southern-style seafood. Here, he samples the Blackened Catfish Po' Boy, which comes served on a soft French roll with a side of crispy fries. He also tries the Fried Okra, a classic southern side dish. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices at Soul Fish Cafe are very reasonable.

Ali then visits Kooky Canuck, a restaurant that serves up oversized burgers and other classic American dishes. Here, he tries the Kookamonga Challenge, which is a 6-pound burger that must be eaten within 60 minutes. Although Ali declines to take on the challenge, he does sample the BBQ Burger, which is topped with pulled pork and smoky BBQ sauce. Kooky Canuck offers a variety of hearty dishes at a reasonable price.

Finally, Ali visits The Little Tea Shop, a humble restaurant that has been serving up traditional southern food since 1918. Here, he tries the Southern Fried Chicken, which comes served with a side of collard greens and macaroni and cheese. He also samples the Cornbread Dressing, which is a classic southern side dish. The Little Tea Shop offers delicious, home-cooked food at an unbeatable price.

Throughout the episode, Ali showcases the best food deals that Memphis has to offer, proving that you don't have to break the bank to enjoy delicious southern cuisine. Whether you're in the mood for classic breakfast dishes, BBQ, seafood, or burgers, there's something for everyone in this episode of Cheap Eats.
