Chow Masters is a culinary competition series that aired on Travel Channel in 2014, starring Frank Coraci and Sammy DeMarco. The series follows Coraci and DeMarco as they travel across the United States in search of the best regional food creations, and ultimately crown one local eatery as the Chow Master for that region.

Each episode of Chow Masters features a different region and three local restaurants that have been selected to compete for the title of Chow Master. The three restaurants are given challenges that test their culinary prowess and creativity, and are judged on their ability to create unique and delicious dishes that represent their region.

The challenges in each episode of Chow Masters are designed to push the chefs to their limits and inspire them to create dishes that are truly exceptional. For example, in one episode, the chefs were tasked with creating a dish that represented the unique blend of African, Native American, and Creole cultures found in New Orleans. In another episode, the chefs had to create a dish that featured the local favorite, Rocky Mountain oysters.

Throughout the competition, Coraci and DeMarco offer guidance and support to the participating chefs, sharing their culinary expertise and offering insights into what makes a truly great dish. They also work to keep the competition light-hearted and fun, encouraging the chefs to have fun with their creations and ultimately, to enjoy the process of creating and sharing their culinary masterpieces.

At the end of each episode, the judges sample the dishes created by each participating restaurant and offer their critique, ultimately selecting one restaurant to be crowned the Chow Master for that region. The winning restaurant receives a coveted trophy, as well as bragging rights and recognition among foodies across the region.

One of the things that sets Chow Masters apart from other culinary competition shows is its focus on regional cuisine. Each episode features a unique region and highlights the distinct flavors and ingredients that are unique to that area. This approach not only helps viewers discover new local eateries and regional delicacies, but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the diversity of American cuisine.

Overall, Chow Masters is a fun, entertaining, and informative series that highlights some of the best regional food creations across the United States. With its talented chefs, challenging competitions, and mouth-watering dishes, it's a must-watch for foodies and travel enthusiasts alike.
