City Confidential Season 8 Episode 7 St. Louis: Family Man, Hit Man

Ever since Lewis and Clark paddled past St. Louis, it's been the gateway to the west. Unfortunately for St. Louis, heading west in search of a better life was a hard habit to shake. By the 1990s, so many had fled to the suburbs that the old joke about the Gateway Arch being "a monument to the people who left town" wasn't so funny. But moving to the safe suburbs proved deadly for a housewife, while her husband was miles away on a "daddy's weekend" with the four kids.
