Cutthroat Kitchen Tournaments Season 1 Episode 3 Superstar Sabotage: Heat Three
- October 22, 2014
The third episode of Cutthroat Kitchen Tournaments Season 1 takes the competition to a whole new level with "Superstar Sabotage: Heat Three." Host Alton Brown challenges four celebrity chefs to create culinary masterpieces despite a series of sabotages that threaten to derail their chances at advancing to the final round.
Each round features a different theme, with the first round being all about breakfast. The chefs must prepare an omelet while dealing with challenges such as using toy kitchen utensils or cooking on a kiddie stovetop. The second round features Mediterranean cuisine, and the chefs must make a seafood dish using ingredients such as octopus and sea urchin. In the final round, the chefs must create a dish featuring the mystery ingredient: chocolate.
Throughout the competition, Brown auctions off sabotages that will hinder the chefs in their cooking. These sabotages range from forcing the chefs to cook with one hand tied behind their backs to limiting their prep time to only 30 seconds. The chefs must use their creativity and culinary skills to overcome these obstacles and impress the judges.
The celebrity chefs competing in this episode are no strangers to the kitchen. Marc Murphy, a judge on Food Network's Chopped, brings his extensive culinary experience to the competition. Competing against him are Alex Guarnaschelli, a renowned chef and restaurateur; Eric Greenspan, the owner of several successful restaurants; and Duff Goldman, a pastry chef and owner of Charm City Cakes.
The judges for this episode are a panel of culinary experts, including Simon Majumdar, Jet Tila, and Christian Petroni. They will taste the dishes prepared by the competitors and determine who will advance to the next round and, ultimately, win the competition.
With the added intensity of celebrity chefs and the devious sabotages thrown their way, "Superstar Sabotage: Heat Three" promises to be an exciting and unforgettable episode of Cutthroat Kitchen Tournaments Season 1. Viewers can expect to see some of the best culinary creations and most impressive feats of cooking under pressure yet.
