Ep 1. The Adventure Begins

In the first episode of Deltora Quest season 1, titled "The Adventure Begins," viewers are introduced to a young teenage boy named Lief. Lief is the son of a blacksmith and dreams of one day becoming a great hero. He lives in the land of Del, a world that was once ruled by a great king. Lief begins his adventure when he meets a mysterious man named Barda who claims to have knowledge of the whereabouts of the missing belt. Despite his initial hesitation, Lief decides to join Barda on his quest to find the belt and restore peace to the land. The two are soon joined by a girl named Jasmine who helps them in their journey.

Together, the trio sets out on a dangerous journey through the Forests of Silence to reach the first of seven gemstones that form a key to unlock the belt. Along the way, they encounter many obstacles, including dangerous creatures and treacherous terrain. Lief and his companions must also face the Guardian of the gemstone, a giant spider known as the Wenn.

Despite the challenges they face, Lief and his friends persevere and manage to retrieve the gemstone. However, their victory is short-lived as they soon discover that the Shadow Lord's minions are hot on their trail. The episode ends with Lief, Barda, and Jasmine fleeing into the safety of the Forests of Silence, narrowly escaping the clutches of the Shadow Lord's army.

Overall, "The Adventure Begins" sets up an exciting and perilous journey for Lief and his companions. Viewers are introduced to the richly detailed world of Del and are immediately drawn into the story of the missing belt and the quest to retrieve it. The episode does an excellent job of introducing key characters and setting up the major plot points of the series.
