Ep 3. The Golden Knight

Determined to find the golden knight and retrieve the gem, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine set out for the fortress. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including dangerous wild animals and treacherous terrain. They also come across a group of bandits who try to steal their supplies, but the trio outsmarts them and escapes unharmed.

Finally, they arrive at the fortress where the golden knight is said to reside. But instead of finding a brave warrior, they encounter a kind and gentle old man named Fa-Glin, who has been living alone in the fortress for years. Fa-Glin explains that he used to be the golden knight, but he retired from his duties and now spends his days drawing and enjoying the peaceful solitude.

Despite Fa-Glin's reluctance to hand over the gem, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine eventually convince him that their cause is just and that they need the gem to save Deltora from the Shadow Lord's tyranny. Fa-Glin gives them the gem and wishes them good luck on their mission.

As they leave the fortress, Lief, Barda, and Jasmine realize that Jinks had followed them all along. But instead of being angry at him, they feel grateful for his help and invite him to join them on their quest. Jinks happily accepts and becomes a new member of the team.

Overall, "The Golden Knight" is an exciting episode that showcases the trio's bravery, resourcefulness, and compassion. It also introduces new characters and adds depth to the show's mythology and world-building.
