Ep 4. Snared

As the group travels with Manny, they learn more about his backstory. Manny's mother was a powerful healer, and she tried to use her magic to cure the sick and injured in a neighboring town. However, the town was suspicious of her powers and accused her of being a witch. They burned her at the stake, leaving Manny alone in the forest. Manny blames himself for his mother's death and has been hiding in the forest ever since.

The Defenders sympathize with Manny and agree to help him seek justice for his mother by bringing her killers to justice. They arrive in the town, where they find that Lord Nazmul's Shadow Magi have taken control. The townspeople are living in fear of the Magi, who are using their powers to terrorize the population. The Defenders find themselves in a dangerous situation, as they must confront the Magi while also trying to uncover the truth about Manny's mother.

As the episode unfolds, the Defenders must use their powers to fight off the Shadow Magi and protect the town from their evil influence. They work together with Manny to uncover the truth about his mother's death, which leads them on a perilous mission that takes them deep into the heart of Lord Nazmul's stronghold.
