In season 11 episode 3 of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri takes viewers on a journey to discover some "funky finds" in the world of delicious cuisine. From off-the-wall flavor combinations to unique cooking techniques, Guy explores the unexpected and unorthodox in this episode.

The first stop on the funky finds tour is a New Orleans-based spot called Ms. B's Berbecue. Here, Guy meets with the owner to try out their signature dish: smoked brisket with a spicy, tangy sauce. With a side of mac and cheese and a cold beer to wash it all down, Guy is blown away by the intense flavors and smoky goodness of the dish.

Next up, Guy heads to a one-of-a-kind eatery in Portland, Oregon called Screen Door. This restaurant is known for its southern-style cuisine, with a focus on seafood and classic comfort foods. Guy samples some of the restaurant's most popular dishes, including a spicy crawfish and grits dish, a fried catfish sandwich, and their famous "Fried Chicken and Waffles." As always, Guy is impressed by the creativity and bold flavors of Screen Door's menu.

The third stop on the funky finds tour takes Guy to San Diego, California to visit City Tacos. This casual joint serves up some of the most unique and flavorful tacos around, using locally sourced ingredients and an eclectic mix of spices and toppings. Guy tries a variety of tacos, from the "Vampiro" with its char-grilled flank steak and cotija cheese, to the "Popeye" with its spinach and mushroom filling. Each taco is a delight for the taste buds, and Guy can't get enough of the fresh, authentic flavors.

The final stop on this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is a fast-food joint in Houston, Texas called Pappa Charlie's. This tiny restaurant may look unassuming, but their food is anything but ordinary. Guy tries their famous "Frito Pie," made with chili, cheese, and the beloved corn chip snack. He also samples their "Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese" and a unique take on the classic chicken sandwich. Pappa Charlie's proves that fast food doesn't have to mean sacrificing quality or flavor.

Throughout the episode, Guy showcases some of the most unconventional and delicious dishes in the country, proving that true culinary creativity knows no bounds. So sit back, grab a fork (or a napkin, or a spoon) and join Guy Fieri on this funky finds adventure.
