Ep 9. From North to South America

In this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, host Guy Fieri embarks on an epic culinary journey from North to South America, discovering some of the most delicious and unique dishes the continents have to offer.

Guy begins his adventure in Canada, where he visits a cozy diner that's been serving up hearty breakfasts and sandwiches for over 70 years. Next, he travels to Honduras to sample the country's traditional street snacks, including pupusas, tamales, and baleadas.

From there, Guy heads to Colombia to try some of the country's famous street food, such as arepas and empanadas. He also samples a variety of exotic fruits and drinks, including a refreshing agua de panela.

Continuing south, Guy lands in Argentina, where he embraces the country's love of meat by indulging in asado, a traditional barbecue that's a true labor of love. He also tries some of the country's iconic beef sandwiches and pastries.

Guy's next stop is Brazil, where he explores the vibrant food scene in Sao Paulo. He samples a dizzying array of dishes, from classic feijoada to contemporary fusion cuisine. He even meets up with a local chef who's bringing the flavors of the Amazon to the big city.

Finally, Guy heads to Peru, where he discovers the unique blend of indigenous and Spanish influences that make up the country's cuisine. He visits a fish market in Lima to see the freshest catch of the day, and then heads to a ceviche restaurant to try some of the country's signature seafood dish.

Throughout his journey, Guy meets with local chefs and food enthusiasts who share their passion for their respective cuisines. With his signature enthusiasm and humor, Guy brings viewers along for a culinary adventure they won't soon forget.
