Dinosaurs Unearthed

"Dinosaurs Unearthed" (2007) is a pair of documentaries made by National Geographic. The first episode tells about two major bonebeds, including one found in the Gobi Desert. These finds led to the discovery of a number of new species -- and it also led scientists to believe that a some kind of catastrophe had wiped out the dinosaurs. In the second episode, researchers examine a very well-preserved fossil that has skin and tissue even after 70 million years.
