Fearless is a legal thriller series that premiered on Amazon in 2017. The show stars Helen McCrory in the lead role of Emma Banville, a fearless human rights lawyer who takes on cases that no one else would touch. The show starts with Emma Banville taking on the case of a man named Kevin Russell, who has been convicted for the murder of a schoolgirl named Linda Simms. However, Emma believes that Kevin is innocent and sets out to find evidence to prove his innocence.

As Emma delves deeper into the case, she realizes that it is much more complicated than she had initially thought. She faces numerous obstacles, including a corrupt police force, a ruthless tabloid journalist, and even threats to her own life. But Emma remains undaunted and continues to fight for justice, even though it means putting herself in danger.

The show explores several themes, including the corrupting influence of power, the complexities of the justice system, and the importance of standing up for what is right. It also raises the question of whether someone can truly be fearless in the face of danger or if fear is just a natural human response.

The performances of the cast are top-notch. Helen McCrory shines in the lead role, bringing a sense of vulnerability and determination to her character. Wunmi Mosaku delivers a powerful performance as Olivia Greenwood, a detective who is initially skeptical of Emma but eventually comes to see her value. Jonathan Forbes is also excellent as Brian Capron, a journalist who will stop at nothing to get a story.

The supporting cast is equally impressive. Jack Shepherd plays solicitor Matthew Wild, who is both a friend and ally to Emma throughout the series. Kika Markham delivers a powerful performance as Caroline Stirling, the mother of the murdered schoolgirl who is still struggling to come to terms with her daughter's death. And Michael Gambon is fantastic as Sir Alastair McKinnon, a powerful figure who has a vested interest in the outcome of the case.

The show is well-written and tightly plotted, with plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers engaged. It also raises some important questions about justice and the role of the media in shaping public opinion.

Overall, Fearless is an excellent legal thriller that is sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It is a thought-provoking and engaging show that is well worth watching.
