Ep 2. Awakening (2)

The show Gargoyles follows the adventures of a group of gargoyles, nocturnal creatures who are transformed into stone during the day, in modern-day New York City. In season 1 episode 2, titled Awakening (2), the story continues from where the previous episode left off, with the gargoyles having been awakened from their 1000-year-long stone sleep by billionaire David Xanatos.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, as the gargoyles discover that the stolen computer disk contains information about their ancient enemies, the Vikings, who may still be alive and seeking revenge against them.

Overall, Awakening (2) is a thrilling continuation of the Gargoyles story, full of action, intrigue, and suspense. It does an excellent job of building on the themes established in the first episode, such as the gargoyles' struggle to adapt to the modern world and their innate sense of justice and loyalty. It also introduces new elements, such as Xanatos's ulterior motives and the threat posed by the Vikings, that promise to keep the story exciting and unpredictable in future episodes.
