Ep 3. Runaways

As the sun sets on Manhattan, a group of runaways take refuge in an abandoned building. However, they soon find themselves under attack by a group of street toughs. Just as all seems lost, the gargoyles arrive and chase off the attackers.

The gargoyles, curious about these human runaways, decide to investigate. After some initial reluctance, the runaways open up to Goliath and Elisa, sharing their stories of abuse, neglect, and failure within the foster care system.

Goliath becomes determined to help the runaways, and he and Elisa take them under their wing. They decide to help the runaways establish a safe haven for themselves within the city, and they enlist the help of Matt Bluestone to gather information on possible locations.

Meanwhile, the runaways struggle to adapt to their new environment. They clash with each other and with the gargoyles, and some are hesitant to trust their new protectors. However, as they work together to overcome various challenges, they slowly begin to form bonds of friendship and trust.

However, their newfound happiness is short-lived when they discover that their safe haven has been compromised. They suspect that one of their own has betrayed them, and tensions rise within the group as they try to identify the culprit.

In the end, the truth comes to light, and the runaways are able to reclaim their safe haven. As Goliath and his clan bid farewell to their new friends, they are left with a renewed sense of hope for this group of young people who have been failed by the adults in their lives.
