Ep 4. Lewis Flats School

In the fourth episode of season 20 of Ghost Adventures, the team heads to Lewis Flats School in southeastern Arizona to investigate claims of paranormal activity. The school has a dark history, having been used as a tuberculosis hospital in the early 1900s, as well as a school for Native American children who were forcibly removed from their families and placed in boarding schools.

The team begins their investigation by exploring the school's basement, where they immediately feel a heavy energy and hear strange whispers. They use a spirit box to communicate with any entities present, and receive clear responses to their questions. As they move through the building, they come across several rooms that are particularly active, including what appears to have been an isolation room for sick patients. Here, they capture eerie EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena), including a child's voice asking for help.

In one of the classrooms, the team discovers a chalkboard with strange messages written on it, as well as evidence of children's drawings and handwriting on the walls. They speculate that this may be evidence of the trauma the Native American children experienced while attending the school, and wonder if their spirits still linger. They conduct a series of experiments, including using a trigger object (a toy) to try to communicate with any child spirits present. They receive a direct response when the toy moves on its own.

Next, the team investigates the school's gymnasium, where they hear unexplained noises and voices. They use a thermal camera to scan the room and capture a figure moving across the stage. They also conduct an EVP session, during which they receive intelligent responses to their questions. The team is particularly intrigued by the response they receive when they ask for the identity of a particular entity - they hear the name "Black Jack". They later learn that this was the nickname of one of the school's former custodians, and that he was known to have a temper.

The investigation ends with a chilling lockdown in the school's auditorium. Almost immediately, the team begins to feel an oppressive energy and hear unexplained noises. They use a Ouija board to communicate with any entities present, and receive direct and specific responses to their questions. At one point, they ask for a sign of the entity's presence, and the entire auditorium goes completely dark for several seconds. The team also captures thermal camera footage of what appears to be a figure standing on the stage.

Overall, the investigation of Lewis Flats School is one of the most intense and compelling of the season. The team encounters a wide range of paranormal activity, including disembodied voices, shadows, and direct responses to their questions. They also explore the school's dark history and the trauma that many of its occupants experienced. Fans of Ghost Adventures will not want to miss this episode.
