Ep 17. Acadia Ranch Sanitorium

In Ghost Adventures season 25 episode 17, the team heads to Acadia Ranch Sanitorium in Oracle, Arizona to investigate claims of paranormal activity in the 1920s tuberculosis hospital-turned-boarding-school. The sanitorium was known for its experimental treatments, which included surgeries and electric shock therapy, and many patients died within its walls.

As Aaron enters a surgical room by himself, he feels a sharp pain in his back and immediately calls out to Zak, who comes to check on him. The team sets up their equipment and begins their investigation, experiencing a variety of unexplained occurrences. They capture EVPs of possible patient voices and Zak feels a heavy pressure on his chest in the same room where Aaron experienced pain earlier.

As they continue their investigation, the team learns of a tragic tale about a young boy who was hospitalized at Acadia Ranch and never received any visitors. Zak and Billy attempt to communicate with the boy's spirit, but instead, they capture the sound of a nurse's call bell ringing continuously.

The team also investigates the school portion of the sanitorium, where a young girl named Mary has been seen. They capture an EVP of what sounds like a child saying "Mary" in response to their questions. As they explore the school's library, they are startled by the sudden sound of a door slamming shut.

Throughout the investigation, the team experiences eerie feelings and unexplained phenomena. At one point, they capture a shadow figure on camera and later, Zak sees a shadowy figure in a hallway.

As the investigation draws to a close, Zak concludes that the experimental treatments performed at Acadia Ranch may have left behind residual energy and that the spirits of patients and staff still linger within its walls. The team's evidence supports these claims, making for a haunting and chilling episode of Ghost Adventures.
