In the thirteenth episode of the third season of Ghost Adventures, the team heads to the historic town of Deadwood to investigate the Fairmont Hotel, where they explore the reportedly haunted halls and rooms of the nearly 100-year-old establishment.

Deadwood, a town that became famous in the late 1800s during the gold rush, has a bloody and violent past, with many deaths and tragedies occurring there. The Fairmont Hotel is no exception, with several stories of paranormal activity reported by guests and staff alike.

The team begins their investigation by meeting with the hotel manager, who tells them stories of strange occurrences, including doors opening and closing on their own, objects moving by themselves, and apparitions being seen in various parts of the hotel. They also hear about a room on the fourth floor that is believed to be particularly haunted, with guests often reporting extremely vivid dreams and feeling as though they are being watched.

As they begin their investigation, the team splits up into smaller groups and uses their equipment to try and capture evidence of any paranormal activity. They first focus on the fourth floor, where they set up cameras and conduct an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) session. They quickly pick up several strange sounds and voices, including what sounds like a child's laughter and a woman's voice whispering inaudibly.

Moving downstairs to the second floor, they set up an EMF (Electromagnetic Field) detector and begin asking questions to try and communicate with any spirits that may be present. They also try using a device called a spirit box, which is believed to allow spirits to communicate directly with the living by creating white noise. While they don't pick up anything significant using the EMF detector, they do hear several strange voices on the spirit box, including what seems to be a man's voice repeatedly saying "get out" and "go away."

The team also investigates a room on the first floor that is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a former employee, who was reportedly killed in the basement of the hotel. In this room, they use a device called a thermal camera to try and capture any heat signatures that may indicate the presence of a spirit. While they don't see anything on the thermal camera, they do pick up several strange EVPs, including what sounds like a man's voice saying "I'm here."

Throughout their investigation, the team experiences several unexplained occurrences, including doors opening and closing by themselves, objects moving on their own, and even what seems like a handprint appearing on the team's camera lens. They also capture several pieces of significant evidence, including EVPs, strange sounds, and even what seems to be an apparition caught on one of their cameras.

In the end, the team concludes that the Fairmont Hotel is indeed haunted, with several spirits present throughout the building. They also note that the hotel is responsible for preserving a significant piece of history, not just for Deadwood, but for the country as a whole, and that the spirits there should be treated with respect and reverence.
