In season 5, episode 101 of Ghost Adventures, the team ventures to Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Hollywood, California. This iconic museum is home to some of the world's most lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and even fictional characters. However, the team isn't there to admire the artistry – they're there to investigate claims of paranormal activity.
The episode begins with Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, and Nick Groff exploring the museum after hours. They marvel at the impressive wax figures and even take a moment to snap some photos with them. But as they move deeper into the museum, they begin to experience some strange occurrences. Zak feels a cold breeze and hears strange noises, while Nick senses a presence following him. Aaron, meanwhile, is drawn to a creepy figure of Jack the Ripper and starts to feel uneasy.
The team splits up to cover more ground, with Zak and Nick exploring the basement archives and Aaron investigating the upper floors. In the archives, Zak and Nick come across some old wax molds used to create the figures, and they both start to feel a strange energy in the room. They also hear unexplained whispering and footsteps, which seem to come from all around them.
Meanwhile, Aaron is investigating the Horror section of the museum, which features wax figures of infamous killers like Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer. As he walks among the figures, he suddenly feels as though he's being watched. He turns around to see if anyone's there, but there's no one in sight. When he turns back to the figures, he's startled to see that they've all moved slightly from their original positions.
When the team regroups, they decide to conduct a spirit box session to try and make contact with any entities that might be in the museum. They set up the device and begin asking questions, and they soon start to receive some very strange responses. They hear the names of famous celebrities who have never been associated with the museum, as well as some disturbing messages from what sounds like a malevolent entity.
Feeling spooked and energized by their experiences so far, the team decides to conduct a lockdown investigation to try and capture more evidence. They set up multiple cameras and audio recorders in various parts of the museum, and they proceed to explore the building in complete darkness. As they move from room to room, they hear unexplained footsteps, see shadow figures darting past them, and even feel physical touches from unseen entities.
The investigation hits a peak when the team visits the Chamber of Horrors, which features wax figures of some of the most notorious killers in history. Zak, Nick, and Aaron all feel a palpable sense of dread in the room, and they sense that something malevolent is lurking there. As they're conducting an EVP session, they hear terrifying screams coming through the spirit box and feel as though they're being surrounded by multiple entities.
After spending the night in the museum, the team reviews their footage and audio recordings, hoping to find some solid evidence of the paranormal. They're not disappointed – they capture EVPs, shadow figures, and even some unexplained movements of the wax figures themselves. The team leaves Madame Tussauds Wax Museum feeling convinced that the museum is haunted by a number of entities, some of whom seem to be drawn to the macabre atmosphere of the Chamber of Horrors.
