In season 7 episode 8 of Ghost Adventures, titled "Dead Men Walking," the crew travels to Yuma, Arizona to investigate the infamous Yuma Territorial Prison. Built in 1876, this prison was known for its harsh treatment of inmates, with many prisoners dying within its walls. The team looks to uncover the paranormal activity that is said to haunt the prison.

Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley, and Jay Wasley begin their investigation by speaking with current and former employees of the prison who have witnessed unexplained activity. They talk about disembodied voices, shadow figures, and strange noises that seem to come from the cells. One employee even claims to have seen a full-body apparition while on duty.

The team then sets up their equipment in key locations around the prison to capture any evidence of the paranormal. They first focus on Cell Block A, where some of the most notorious prisoners were held, including those on death row. Zak and Aaron enter the cells alone, hoping to provoke any spirits that may be present. As they taunt and challenge the spirits, they capture some startling electronic voice phenomena (EVPs) and personal experiences.

Next, the team moves to the shower area, where it is said that one of the most violent incidents in the prison's history occurred. In 1909, three inmates were killed during a botched escape attempt. Zak and the team use a spirit box to try and communicate with these inmates and the responses they receive are chilling.

The final area of investigation is the dark and oppressive "hole," where inmates were sent as punishment for their bad behavior. As Zak and Aaron enter the cramped and claustrophobic cells, they are immediately overcome by an overwhelming feeling of dread. The night vision footage they capture in this area is some of the most terrifying of the entire investigation.

Throughout the episode, the team works with a psychic medium, who helps them to connect with the spirits of the inmates who lost their lives in the prison. She confirms much of what they have already captured, including the presence of a malevolent entity who seems to have taken up residence in the prison.

In the end, the team presents their findings to the museum staff, who are astounded by the amount of evidence they have captured. The EVPs, spirit box responses, and personal experiences all paint a picture of a prison that is still haunted by the spirits of its former inmates. As the team reflects on their investigation, it becomes clear that the Yuma Territorial Prison is one of the most haunted locations they have ever visited.
