Ep 19. GGG Winners vs. Judges

In the 18th season of Guy's Grocery Games, episode 19, titled GGG Winners vs. Judges, the competition heats up as four previous winners of the show return to battle it out against four judges of the show. The contestants are Chef Darnell Ferguson, Chef Chad Rosenthal, Chef Whitney Werner and Chef Johnny Zone, while the judges' team is comprised of familiar faces such as Chef Beau MacMillan, Chef Duskie Estes, Chef Antonia Lofaso, and Chef Troy Johnson.

As always, the show is hosted by the energetic Guy Fieri, who explains the rules of the competition to the contestants. Each team has 30 minutes to shop for ingredients in the grocery store with a budget of $5,000. They then have 30 minutes to cook a dish using the ingredients they purchased, as well as any additional ingredients they find in the Flavortown Market pantry.

In round one, the contestants and judges face off against each other in a pork challenge. They must use pork in all three of their dishes, which will be judged by Chef Troy, Chef Duskie, and Chef Antonio. The dishes are judged based on taste, creativity, and the use of pork. Round two is a salad challenge, where contestants and judges must create a salad using a mystery ingredient. The judges have the advantage in this round, as they get to choose the mystery ingredient. In the final round, the contestants and judges compete in a pasta challenge where they must create a dish using homemade pasta. The contestants are the underdogs here, as the judges have a lot of experience making homemade pasta. However, the contestants do not give up and create some impressive dishes that showcase their creativity and expertise.

As always, tensions are high and emotions run wild as the clock ticks down and the contestants and judges race to finish their dishes. The judges must decide who has created the best dishes in each round, and which team will take home the ultimate prize of $20,000.
