Hot Bench Season 5 Episode 120 Goat Rampage and Racism?

  • February 19, 2019

Hot Bench is a popular American syndicated court show that premiered on September 15, 2014. The show is created by Judge Judy Sheindlin and produced by her production company, Queen Bee Productions. The show features three judges, Tanya Acker, Patricia DiMango, and Michael Corriero, who preside over different cases and provide their verdict.

In the season 5 of the show, episode number 120, the judges heard an unusual case that involved a goat rampage and racism. The case started when a man named George, who lived in a rural area, decided to buy two goats to keep as pets. He named the goats Bonnie and Clyde and cared for them as if they were his own children. He brought them food every day and built a small shed in his backyard for them to sleep in.

A few months after buying the goats, George noticed that his neighbor, a man named Richard, was constantly staring at the goats and making derogatory comments about them. Richard would often say that goats do not belong in a residential area and called them "dirty animals." George confronted Richard about his behavior, but Richard refused to back down and continued to harass George and the goats.

One day, while George was at work, Richard entered his yard and started taunting the goats. He threw rocks at them and repeatedly yelled racial slurs at them. Bonnie and Clyde became frightened and started running around the yard, knocking over the fence and escaping onto the street. They caused a minor traffic accident and panicked several pedestrians.

George was devastated when he returned home from work to find that his beloved goats were missing. He searched for them everywhere but couldn't find them. Finally, after several days of searching, he found them in a nearby woods, exhausted and injured.

He immediately took them to the vet, and soon, the authorities were involved. George decided to sue Richard for the harassment and the damage caused by the goat rampage. He asked for compensation for the vet bills, the damages to his property, and the emotional distress he had to suffer.

The judges listened carefully to the evidence presented by both parties and came to a decision. They ruled that Richard was guilty of harassment, trespassing, and property damage. They ordered him to pay George's vet bills and compensation for the damages. They also issued a restraining order against Richard, prohibiting him from entering George's property or contacting him in any way.

Overall, the episode was gripping and heartwarming. The goat rampage provided light comic relief, while the racism and harassment issues were handled sensitively and deservedly. The judges' decision provided George with the justice he sought, and Bonnie and Clyde were finally safe at home.
