In this episode of Infinite Stratos, titled "The Transfer Student Is the Second Childhood Friend," we see the introduction of yet another character, a transfer student named Charlotte Dunois. Charlotte is introduced to the class by Chifuyu Orimura, the homeroom teacher and Ichika's older sister, who tells everyone that Charlotte is from France and will be staying with them for the remainder of the school year.

The introduction sparks a lot of interest among the students, particularly the boys, who are impressed by Charlotte's beauty and her large bust. Little do they know that Charlotte is not all that she seems. As it turns out, she has a secret that she is keeping from everyone, and it involves her connection to Ichika.

It is revealed that Charlotte and Ichika knew each other when they were children, and they were very close friends at the time. However, due to certain circumstances, they were separated and lost touch with each other. Now, Charlotte has come to Japan to reconnect with Ichika and hopefully rekindle their friendship.

Ichika is pleasantly surprised to see Charlotte, and he welcomes her with open arms. The two of them spend some time catching up and reminiscing about old times, and it becomes clear that there is still a strong bond between them.

However, not everyone is happy about Charlotte's arrival. Houki, who has been harboring feelings for Ichika since childhood, is jealous of the attention he is giving Charlotte and feels like she is being pushed aside. This leads to a confrontation between the two girls, where Houki accuses Charlotte of using her feminine wiles to get Ichika's attention.

Meanwhile, a new challenge arises for the students of the IS academy. They are tasked with completing a training exercise that involves navigating through a maze while avoiding obstacles and enemy attacks. Charlotte, who is a skilled pilot, is chosen to be on Ichika's team, along with Houki and another classmate, Lingyin.

The training exercise proves to be a tough one, as the team must work together to overcome various obstacles and fend off enemy attacks. However, they manage to complete the challenge successfully, and everyone is impressed with their teamwork and skill.

As the episode comes to a close, Charlotte and Ichika are seen talking privately, with Charlotte revealing more about her past and her reasons for coming to Japan. It is clear that there is a lot of history between the two of them, and it will be interesting to see how their relationship develops over the course of the series.

Overall, "The Transfer Student Is the Second Childhood Friend" is a fun and engaging episode that introduces a new character while also delving deeper into the relationships between the existing cast. There are plenty of action and drama, and the dynamic between the characters is entertaining to watch. Fans of the series will not be disappointed by this episode, as it continues to deliver on the promise of a fun, action-packed anime series.
