Ep 5. (Home) The Hearthfire Mansion

Bell and Welf train hard to improve their skills in the dungeon as their level-ups progress further. Hestia and Mikoto plan a surprise for Bell's upcoming birthday party, while Lili hopes to get closer to him. Meanwhile, Apollo sends invites to all the gods and their children for a banquet at his Hearthfire Mansion, which also serves as a rare moment for everyone to meet and socialize with each other.

As Bell and his friends enter the grand mansion, they are amazed by the vast luxurious rooms, the exquisite food and the party atmosphere. Hestia and Apollo meet once again, but their tension only grows stronger when Apollo shows interest in Bell, declaring him as a potential hero who can surpass even Ais. Hestia becomes increasingly protective of Bell and tries to prevent Apollo from getting too close to him.

As the party progresses, the atmosphere takes a darker turn when Apollo announces a sudden game for all the attendees. He challenges them to a type of Russian roulette game, where each person must take a turn to hit a button that randomly selects either an explosion or a prize. The prizes range from gold to rare weapons, while the explosion could potentially injure or kill the person. Despite the dangers, many participants eagerly take part in the game, including Bell's friends.

Bell, however, refuses to play along with the game, much to Apollo's surprise. Apollo mocks Bell, declaring him a weak coward for not participating. He even goes as far as to offer him a better prize if he participates, but Bell stays firm in his decision. Apollo's aggressive behavior towards Bell begins to attract attention from the other gods, and they come to Bell's aid, offering their support to him in light of the disrespect shown by Apollo.

The situation spirals out of control when the game reaches its climax, and one of the participants gets critically injured by an explosion. Apollo, revealing his true colors, takes it as an opportunity to manipulate the situation in his favor, declaring that Bell is responsible for the injury and that he must face consequences. Hestia, not willing to let her familia member be unfairly punished, steps in to defend Bell, leading to a heated argument between herself and Apollo.

The episode concludes on a cliffhanger, leaving the viewer wondering what Bell and Hestia will do next to overcome the trouble that Apollo has caused. The episode showcases a darker side of the gods and their nature and sets up an intense conflict between Bell and Apollo.
