Jillian Michaels 6 Week Six-Pack provides two 30 minute workouts that include abdominal and cardiovascular exercises to strengthen and tone. In order to get a toned looking six-pack, cardiovascular exercise to burn fat is also necessary. Jillian's goal is to "shed fat and while toning your core." Both of these workouts do not contain your typical sit ups and crunches. Through a series of non-traditional cardio and mat exercises, you will be moving for the entirety of each workout. Because each exercise uses multiple muscle groups, you will work and tone many muscle groups in each workout. Jillian uses a motivating (and sometimes humorous) style of encouragement to help keep you going through the hardest parts of the workout. Additionally, she provides important guidance on the form for each move so that each move is as effective as possible. There is a quick warm-up and cool down included before and after each 30 minute workout for safety and flexibility. For each exercise, you are provided with modifications for safety and fitness level. No matter how fit you are, the exercises in this DVD will challenge you and make for a unique workout.
