History buffs rejoice! The History channel is bringing viewers an engaging and informative series that brings hot topics up for debate. Hosted by the Scottish comedian Craig Ferguson, who shows himself to be quite knowledgable about history as well as humor, the show Join or Die is a lively and fun exploration of some fascinating topics.

Each episode features a different panel of celebrities or experts who are posed difficult questions. Topics will range from greatest and worst presidents, most revolutionary inventions, and much more. In addition, the show uses a social media function to let the general public join in. Viewers can share their opinion in real time, giving the debate an additional, unconventional perspective.

The name of the show hails from Benjamin Franklin's famous "Join or Die" illustration at the time of the American Revolution. Ferguson has this tattooed on his arm, and though a comedian by profession, is serious about history. Join or Die tackles serious topics in a fun way, and is excellent at getting people more involved with their own history.
