She's hopeful that they can help her find Shiroe.

The episode is action-packed, with plenty of battles and close calls. But it's also full of character development and world-building. Kanami, Elias, and Touya make for an interesting group, with distinct personalities and motivations. And the glimpse into the Far East adds a new layer of intrigue to the show, expanding the scope beyond the confines of the starting city.
