Ep 16. Vampire in Daylight

After successfully retrieving Shiroe's memories, Maryelle and Henrietta discuss the complexity of the ritual and how it should not be attempted again. Meanwhile, Shiroe and the other members of Log Horizon set out to explore the newly discovered city of Minami. Upon arriving, they are greeted by the cheerful, but mysterious, vampire Serara, who asks for their help in retrieving her stolen notebook.

Although hesitant at first, the group decides to help Serara and begins their investigation. Along the way, they encounter a variety of quirky characters, including a group of ninja-like fighters, a playful werewolf, and a pair of mischievous young boys. With their help, they are able to track down the thief and retrieve Serara's notebook.

However, their journey is not without obstacles. As they make their way through the city, they come across various monsters that are able to move around during the day, despite being typically nocturnal. This phenomenon confuses and concerns the group, as they try to navigate through the unfamiliar terrain, unsure of what dangers they may face.

As the group finally reaches their destination and confronts the thief, they are met with unexpected resistance. The thief turns out to be a powerful vampire, able to manipulate the shadows and move faster than the eye can see. In the heat of battle, it becomes clear that the vampire has a hidden agenda, one that may put the safety of the entire city at risk.

With time running out, Shiroe and the others must work quickly to stop the vampire and protect the city they have come to call home. But with their limited resources and the vampire's strength, victory is far from guaranteed. Will they be able to save the day and uncover the vampire's true intentions?
