Ep 1. The Virgin & The Trick

In Love After Lockup season 2 episode 1 titled "The Virgin & The Trick", we are introduced to six new couples who are all waiting for their loved ones to be released from prison. The first couple we meet is Lacey and John. Lacey is a single mother of two who has been corresponding with John, a convicted felon, for two years. She's been sending him money and writing letters to him every day. John is finally getting out of prison, and Lacey is excited to see him. However, she's been talking to other men on the side and is struggling with her feelings for John.

The second couple we meet is Marcelino and Brittany. Marcelino is a former military man who has never been to prison. Brittany, on the other hand, has been incarcerated for most of her adult life. Brittany is getting out of prison and has a lot of anxiety about what her life will be like on the outside. Marcelino is there to support her, but his controlling behavior is already causing some tension.

The third couple we meet is Clint and Tracie. Clint is a Texas boy who has fallen in love with Tracie, a woman he's been writing to in prison. Clint's parents are wary of the relationship, but Clint is determined to make it work. Tracie is excited to finally be released from prison, but she's not sure if she's ready to be in a committed relationship.

The fourth couple we meet is Scott and Lizzie. Scott is a wealthy man who has fallen in love with Lizzie, a convicted felon. Lizzie has been in and out of prison for most of her life and has a history of drug addiction. Scott is willing to overlook all of that in order to be with her. However, Lizzie is keeping a secret from Scott that could threaten their relationship.

The fifth couple we meet is Andrea and Lamar. Andrea is a devout Mormon who has fallen in love with Lamar, a man who is currently serving time in prison. Andrea is committed to their relationship, but she's struggling to fit Lamar's lifestyle into her conservative beliefs. Lamar is excited to get out of prison, but he's worried about how Andrea's family will react to their relationship.

The sixth and final couple we meet is Megan, Michael, and Sarah. Michael is a man who has been in and out of prison for most of his adult life. He's currently in prison and is married to Sarah. However, he's also been talking to Megan, a woman who lives in another state. Megan is under the impression that Michael is single and is planning on moving to be with him once he's released from prison. However, Michael is keeping a secret from both women that could destroy everything.

Overall, Love After Lockup season 2 episode 1 is full of drama, tension, and surprise secrets. We get a glimpse into the lives of six couples who are all waiting for their loved ones to be released from prison. Some of them are ready to start their lives together, while others are struggling with their feelings and doubts. This episode sets the stage for what promises to be an emotional and intense season of Love After Lockup.
