In Majikoi Oh! Samurai Girls! season 1 episode 1, titled "Come at Me, Seriously!", we are introduced to the main character, Yamato Naoe, a high school student who is talented in martial arts and specializes in the "Kazama Style". Yamato lives in Kawakami City, a place where warriors with magical powers known as "Samurai" exist.

Yamato is seen goofing around with his friends in class, until they come across a group of students from a rival school, who challenge them to a fight. The group consists of three boys and two girls, and they claim to be the best fighters from their school. However, Yamato and his friends quickly defeat them with ease, using their martial arts skills.

Later, Yamato and his friends are approached by a girl named Matsunaga Miyako, who claims to be a Samurai from a prestigious school called the "Academy". She challenges Yamato to a fight, but Yamato declines, not wanting to fight a girl. Miyako is disappointed, but they end up talking and becoming friends.

The next day at school, Yamato is approached by another girl, Kawakami Momoyo, who is known as the "Dragonfly of Kawakami". She is a powerful Samurai and the captain of the school's Martial Arts Club. Momoyo tells Yamato that she wants him to join the club, but Yamato declines, not wanting to be involved in any more fights.

After school, Yamato and his friends see a group of delinquents harassing a girl, who turns out to be Miyako. They try to intervene, but the delinquents are too strong and end up injuring Yamato. However, Momoyo suddenly appears and defeats the delinquents with ease. She then challenges Yamato to a fight, saying that he needs to prove himself if he wants to protect the people he cares about.

The episode ends with Yamato accepting Momoyo's challenge, and the two of them heading off to fight.
