In season 12 episode 8 of Man v. Food, host Casey Webb visits Roswell, New Mexico to take on some of the town's most unique and challenging food challenges.
First up: Casey heads to Big D's Downtown Dive, where he takes on the "Big D Challenge" – a massive burger consisting of two beef patties, bacon, cheese, and all the fixings, sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. In addition to the burger, Casey must also finish a side of fries and a milkshake within 45 minutes to claim victory. Will he be able to conquer the challenge and earn a spot on the restaurant's wall of fame?
Next, Casey heads to Chef Toddzilla's Roadside Cafe to try his hand at the "Tacozilla Challenge." This challenge requires Casey to eat 10 gigantic, fully-loaded tacos in just 20 minutes. These tacos are no joke – each one is piled high with pork, ground beef, chicken, peppers, onions, and a ton of cheese. Plus, Casey has to finish a side of beans and rice to complete the challenge. Will this be the one that finally stumps our intrepid host?
Finally, Casey visits the Alien Cafe, a legendary spot in Roswell that pays homage to the town's most famous (alleged) inhabitants. Here, Casey chows down on the "Alien Burger," a massive creation that consists of a pound of beef, an entire avocado, and a mountain of toppings. To make things even more interesting, Casey has to take on the "Invasions Fries Challenge" along with the burger – a giant plate of french fries topped with even more cheese, bacon, and other delicious ingredients. Can Casey conquer this extraterrestrial feast?
Throughout the episode, Casey also takes time to explore the town of Roswell itself, soaking in the quirky and fascinating local culture. From the UFO Museum and Research Center to the giant alien statues dotted around town, there's plenty to see and do for those who are into all things extraterrestrial.
Overall, this episode of Man v. Food is a must-watch for fans of extreme food challenges and all things Roswell. With Casey's trademark humor and determination, it's sure to be a wild ride from start to finish.
