This week on Man v. Food, host Casey Webb heads to Orlando, Florida, to take on some of the city's biggest and baddest food challenges. The episode opens with Casey at a local BBQ joint, where he indulges in a plate of brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, all smothered in the restaurant's signature sauce. After filling up on meat, Casey heads to a nearby pizza joint to tackle a massive 30-inch pizza loaded with cheese, sausage, and pepperoni.
Next up on the list is a challenge that's unique to Orlando: The Kitchen Sink at the Enzian Theater. The Enzian is a local arthouse cinema that's also home to a restaurant and bar, and their signature dessert is a mountain of ice cream, toppings, and whipped cream served in a literal kitchen sink. Casey takes on the challenge alongside two local food bloggers, but with only 30 minutes to finish the massive dessert, it's anyone's game.
After a brief detour to try some classic Florida citrus at a local grove, Casey heads to the Amway Center, home of the NBA's Orlando Magic, to tackle an epic hot dog challenge. The "Shaquille O'Neal hot dog" is a foot-long frankfurter topped with chili, cheese, and Fritos, served on a pretzel bun. Casey battles his way through the messy, cheesy creation, fueled by his love of basketball and determination to conquer yet another food challenge.
The final stop on Casey's Orlando tour is a local seafood joint, where he tries his hand at a massive platter of sushi and sashimi. The "Big Tuna Challenge" features over three pounds of fresh fish, including tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, all served on a bed of rice and accompanied by wasabi, ginger, and soy sauce. Casey's sushi skills are put to the test as he navigates the mountain of fish with chopsticks, trying to finish the challenge before time runs out.
Throughout the episode, viewers get a taste of some of the best food Orlando has to offer, from classic southern BBQ to creative pizza toppings to fresh seafood straight from the Gulf of Mexico. Casey is his usual energetic self, cheerfully joking with restaurant staff, fellow eaters, and even himself as he takes on each new challenge. And while he may not come out on top in every challenge, he proves once again that he's always willing to try something new and push his limits when it comes to food.
