Ep 1. The Lady in the Lake

Agent Peggy Carter is back for a second season of espionage, action, and adventure in the Marvel universe. Set in the late 1940s, the show follows Peggy as she works as a covert agent for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, a predecessor to S.H.I.E.L.D. Alongside Peggy, there are some memorable new characters introduced in this episode. Chief among them is Jason Wilkes, a brilliant scientist who becomes Peggy's reluctant ally in the investigation. Wilkes is charming, charismatic, and just a little bit mysterious, and there's plenty of chemistry between him and Peggy from the get-go. Also making her debut is Whitney Frost, a glamorous actress who is not all that she seems. Frost is beautiful, ambitious, and dangerously smart, and she may be just as much of a threat to Peggy as any of the villains she's faced before.
