It's Winter in New York, and the city is experiencing one of the heaviest snowstorms in recent history. Everyone is either hunkered down at home or struggling to commute in the treacherous conditions. But at the Municipal Court of New York, business goes on as usual.

In this episode of Night Court, aptly titled "Let It Snow," Judge Harry T. Stone (played by Harry Anderson) and his eclectic team of court officers and clerks have their hands full with a variety of cases and unexpected visitors.

The episode opens with Harry getting ready for work, despite the blizzard raging outside. He bundles up in his trademark hodgepodge of scarves, hats, and coats, and heads out into the snow-covered streets. Meanwhile, his co-workers are already at the courthouse, trying to keep warm and busy.

The first case of the day involves an elderly woman who was arrested for stealing a scarf from a department store. Her excuse? She was cold and had no money to buy a proper winter coat. Harry takes pity on the woman and gives her a stern warning, but also pays for her coat and lets her go.

Next up is a dispute between a landlord and his tenants, who are demanding that he fix their heating and plumbing issues. The landlord, played by the legendary actor and comedian Milton Berle, tries to argue that the tenants are exaggerating their complaints and that he's doing his best to address the problems. But the tenants have photographic evidence to prove otherwise, and Harry rules in their favor.

As the snow continues to pile up outside, the courthouse receives a surprise visit from a group of travelers who are stranded in the city. They include a pregnant woman, a couple on their honeymoon, and a man with a severe case of claustrophobia. The travelers are looking for shelter and food, and Harry decides to let them stay in the courthouse for the night. This leads to some comical and heartwarming moments as the Night Court crew tries to entertain and accommodate their guests.

Back to the cases at hand, there's a woman who's suing her cheating husband for alimony, a man who's being sued for crashing his snowmobile into a parked car, and a group of protesters who are arrested for picketing outside a fur shop. Each case has its own twists and turns, and Harry has to navigate the messy legal landscape while also dealing with his personal life.

In the midst of all this chaos, Harry is also visited by his ex-wife, who's seeking his help in getting a job at the courthouse. Harry is hesitant at first, but eventually agrees to give her a chance. However, this decision leads to some tense moments between Harry and his current girlfriend, Christine (played by Markie Post).

As the night wears on and the snowstorm shows no signs of stopping, the travelers and the Night Court crew bond over hot cocoa, karaoke, and some revealing conversations. Harry also has some heart-to-heart moments with his ex-wife, Christine, and his trusty bailiff Bull (played by Richard Moll).

In the end, all the cases are resolved, the travelers find a way out of the city, and Harry decides to let his ex-wife stay on as a court reporter. The episode ends with Harry and Christine cuddled up on the couch, watching the snowfall outside and enjoying a peaceful moment in the midst of a hectic day.

Overall, "Let It Snow" is a charming and entertaining episode of Night Court that showcases the series' trademark blend of humor, heart, and legal drama. The show's talented cast, witty writing, and timely themes make it a must-watch for fans of classic sitcoms and courtroom dramas alike.
