From the frigid Canadian tundra to the unforgiving American southwest to the tropics of Belize, North America brings viewers into the landscape and brings to life the world around them.

Narrated by Tom Selleck, North America was a three-year long project undertaken by Discovery producers. Battling such natural elements as the snowy Rocky Mountains and Hurricane Irene, the making of North America was not easy. This mimics the struggles of the animals and vistas that the series captures on film.

As North America moves to the beat of Bon Jovi's "Army of One", viewers are transported into the volatile and diverse world of the continent. The series embraces the mystery and beauty of a world of constant change and growth.
